TheColorBug, Awesome game but buggy and no cheats allowedI was playing story mode and got to a point where I’m supposed to obtain 3 objects to place somewhere after encountering 3 NPCS (I don’t want to give too much away). However, I checked all of the walkthroughs and message boards as I could and I did everything CORRECTLY.

The NPCs will not reappear no matter what I’ve tried and the objects they were supposed to leave me are nowhere to be found and I was hoping I could reset my sim but cheats aren’t allowed in story mode.The worst part? Although I didn’t manually save my game since MUCH earlier in the story, the game apparently decided to save itself so when I closed and opened the game back up, I was right where I was before so I couldn’t even reattempt.Unfortunately I’ve searched far and wide on Google and can’t find anyone who’s had the EXACT problem - similar, yes, but not exact. It seems to be specific to this release.

Everything else is awesome, but it’s unfortunate that I can’t finish my story because of this glitch:(. Heheehehdda, BugsThe game was going great up until recently. My characters goes to work and doesn’t come home when gets stuck and stands on the screen where I can see him while he should be at work. He stands there and sways until he’s almost dead when the ‘at work’ funciton is active.

Then I have to cancel out of it where I don’t get money for the time he was at work. The same thing happens with the monkey, he almost died twice because I forgot.I’ve used the shell to call girls I have a good relationship probably 20 different times, and none of them will respond. I always get the answering machine. I keep going to their location and flirting with them but I can’t get the bar to max out or the get to a ‘crush’ status. BridgitS, Used to be 5 starsI love the sims and this was my favorite one but now I can't make a character like me because there is a glitch when making female characters with light colored skin. This is really frustrating.The game play is fun. Lots of glitches.

But my computer warned me that the game needs to be updated to match my software for sufficient game play and it may affect things. But the skin glitch is the most frustrating in my opinion only because I like making mini mes and I can no longer do so.

The only significant difference is that all houses are located on the same tropical island, which the players knew during the adventure mode.The Castaway Stories introduces some significant changes to the gameplay mechanics. The Sims do not have to get Simoleons or money. Instead, they have to gain food and resources points. The resources are used to create new items.

The new functions are using maps of the area and looking through a diary of events.The game was developed primarily for laptops - its service and operation are designed slightly differently. The player can auto-pause the game at any time by closing the screen and play in a separate window during chatting with friends using the instant messengers.
